PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display device capable of maintaining the attitude of a display part at an open angle permitting to visually check the display surface at an appropriate angle, even in a state that cables are connected with a cable connection part of a facial part of the device main body. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle display device is provided with a torsion coil spring energizing a display part 5, hinged to be openable and closable in a facial part 3 of a device main body 1, in the closing direction. The energizing force of the coil spring, when an open angleθof the display part 5 is from 0 to an angle b, is set so that the energizing force in the closing direction of the coil spring overcomes a torque in the opening direction by gravity of the display part 5 and the display part is closed, and when the open angleθof the display part 5 exceeds the angle b, the energizing force of the coil spring is set so that the opening torque by gravity of the display part 5 overcomes the energizing force of the coil spring in the closing direction and the display part is opened, and even in a state in which a cable 11 is connected, it is possible to maintain an attitude of the display part 5 at an appropriate angle permitting to visually check a display at an appropriate angle.
