PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the selection method and the selection device for a video audio equipment having a power supply circuit for a satellite antenna or the like by which the selection of an equipment in matching with a purpose of the user is facilitated. SOLUTION: For example, in the case a selection knob 6 selects a position of an F plug antenna output terminal 1, all contacts of a selection circuit 7 are connected to positions relating to the number 1 such as the F plug antenna output terminal 1, a video input terminal 1V, a right audio channel input terminal 1AR, and a left audio channel input terminal 1AL on a right terminal board 11R resulting that a device as a satellite tuner 1A connecting to all the connected contacts is selected. An antenna input of the satellite tuner 1A is outputted to a drive antenna 4 and video and audio signals are outputted to an AV monitor 5.
