PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent resin which is excellent in coating property, adhesiveness, storage stability, durability and impact resistance, esp. in transparency and adhesiveness after curing, by forming the same from a cured item of a polymerizable compsn. contg. diallyl phthalate and pentaerythritol tetra(3-mercaptopropionate). SOLUTION: This resin is formed from a cured item of a polymerizable compsn. contg. at least one compd. selected from among diallyl phthalate, diallyl isophthalate and diallyl terephthalate and pentaerythritol tetra(3-mercaptopropionate) pref. in an equivalent ratio of (2:1)-(1:3). The amt. of a photopolymn. initiator contained is pref. 0.005-10 wt.%, and pref. the compsn. further contains an ultraviolet-curing agent. A combination of 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenylpropan-1-one with bisacylphosphine oxide is pref. as the initiator.
