<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn on a lamp in propelling a vehicle only by human power, by stopping the power supply to an electric motor when the battery voltage is the first set value or number, and stopping the power supply to the lamp when the battery voltage is dropped to a level not higher than the second set value which is lower than the first set value. SOLUTION: When a mean value VBA of the battery voltage reaches a first set value VB1 or number, the power supply to an electric motor 2 is stopped. Thus, overdischarge of a battery 1 due to power supply to the electric motor 2 whose load is relatively high can be prevented. So long as a lamp switch 9 is in the conductive condition until the mean value VBA of the battery voltage is dropped down to a second set value VB2 which is lower than the first set value VB1, a lamp 3 whose load is relatively small can be kept lighted, so that the lamp 3 can be turned on when motor-assisted bicycle is driven only by human power.</p> |
