PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device and a keyboard device with which its key stroke can be kept large while the thinning of the keyboard device can be achieved and its key top not in the pressed-down state can be tilted in relation to a holder member. SOLUTION: In this key switch device, the vertical movement of a key top is guided and supported by a guiding support member composed by placing two link members crisscross in the X-shaped form in the side view, and the key top is tilted by making a distance R4 from an end Q to a journalling part C longer than distances r1, R2, R3 from other ends P, S, T to the journalling part C. Thus, a structure to slide and guide a key stem vertically by a holder part is not required so that the key stroke can be kept large while the thinning of a keyboard can be realized and a curved keyboard in which the tilt angle of each key top is different from row to row can be designed easily because the tilt angle of each key top can be determined arbitrarily by varying the distance from the end Q to the journalling part C.
