PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-film magnetic core or a thin-film magnetic device, capable of suppressing disturbance of magnetic flux and reducing the variations of the characteristics, and to provide a method of manufacturing the core or device. SOLUTION: Prescribed ferromagnetic particles 8 are charged into, deposited on or fixed to slits 3 formed in the surfaces of a thin-film magnetic core 2 of a single-layered structure or a laminated structure, and defects in shapes such as recesses (pores) 5, cracks, chipped corners, or the like produced during the manufacture of the core 2. Further, by forming a thin-film inductor 1 having such thin-film magnetic cores 2, the disturbance of magnetic flux is suppressed and variation of inductor characteristics of individual products are reduced. |
