PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint removing tool which can improve the working efficiency of removing work to remove a joint for refrigerant piping from metallic pipes used for a refrigerating cycle and by which the joint for refrigerant piping is not dropped at removing work time. SOLUTION: Two claw-shaped bodies 6 are inserted into two lock releasing holes 24 by pushing a tool main body 5 along a guide part so that a joint 2 for refrigerant piping is taken in the tool main body 5 by putting the opening side of the tool main body 5 of a joint removing tool 1 in the forefront, and the joint 2 for refrigerant piping is easily removed from metallic pipes 11 and 12 by releasing a lock condition of the joint 2 for refrigerant piping. At this time, a piping connecting part of the metallic pipes 11 and 12 is covered with the tool main body 5, and since an opening condition of the piping connecting part is regulated by the tool main body 5, even if a refrigerant remains in the metallic pipes 11 and 12, the refrigerant does not blow out in the direction of an operator from a connecting part of the piping connecting part. |
