PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a circuit which is related to a current characteristic profile circuit and converts input current which exists in a prescribed dynamic range into output current of a partitioned linear characteristic in a similar range by combining constant current and current that is in proportion to input current to generate the corresponding output current. SOLUTION: This current characteristic shaping circuit consists of a 1st current supply shunting circuit (transistors Q1 and Q5) and a 2nd current supply shunting circuit (transistors Q2 and Q6). In the circuit, output current which has a partitioned linear characteristic by generating corresponding output current by combining constant current and current that is in proportion to input current. In such cases, a break point in a slope of an output current characteristic is realized by responding to the change of an input level between thresholds and switching a current component that responds to other input current to output current coupling or switching from the output current coupling. |
