PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which allows increase in the connector fitting force so that it is not likely to slip off, and which generates a sense of clicking when coupling of the connectors is completed so as to let a user know that the connector coupling is completed. SOLUTION: An engaging member 24 is furnished on a male side connector, and on a female side connector, another engaging member 42 is furnished which is separable engaged with the engaging member 24 when the two connectors are coupled together, wherein the engaging member 24 is provided with an engaging projection 51 and an engaging recess 52 while the other engaging member 42 is provided with a projection 51 to be engaged with the first named recess 52 and a recess 52 to be engaged with the first named projection 51. The two projections 51 are contacted with each other and put in elastical deformation, and then they are permitted to get over each other. |
