IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost on a computer and to increase the speed of the formation of a restored image by providing a restoring means for an image in the form of titles and making each title include a pixel grating in specific dimensions representing a specific space area of the image. SOLUTION: Navigation sensors 24 and 26 effectively observe a window moving on the image of an original 14 to generate a display of arrangement in two planes between successive observations. Pixel values outputted by the navigation sensors 24 and 26 are processed to adequately map image data outputted by an image sensor 22. This method can reduces the memory capacity needed to store an image acquired by nonrestraint scanning to reduce the cost on the computer and increase the speed of the formation of a restored image from the acquired image.
