PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a high temperature offset caused by a temperature difference by rotating a pressing unit in one direction plural times by a driving mechanism over a second regulating period of time longer than a first regulating period of time after continuous fixing process for plural sheets of paper which are small-sized paper sheets as transfer material which is smaller than transfer material of B-4 size. SOLUTION: When it is distinguished that recording paper sheets P subjected to continuous fixing process are of a normal size, after fixing process for the final sheet of a normal size, a driving mechanism rotates a pressure roller 17 for plural times after 2.25 seconds (first regulating time). On the other hand, when it is recognized that recording paper sheets subjected to continuous fixing process are small-sized paper sheets, and also when the number of next sheets to be subjected to continuous fixing process is 5 or more, after fixing process for the final small-sized paper, the driving mechanism rotates the pressure roller 17 for plural times after ten seconds (second regulating time). Then, the continuous fixing process for plural sheets of a small size is completed to prepare for the fixing process for the next recording paper sheet P. |
