PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the setting of optimum setting place upon receiving a storage battery by a method wherein the position of installation of the storage battery for an electric power storage type air conditioner is provided at the outside of an air- conditioning room, which will not receive restriction in the space of installation. SOLUTION: An electric power storage type air conditioner is provided with an electric power supply 21, supplying an electric power for driving a load M1, and an electric power storage means BM, capable of charging the electric power, supplied from the electric power supply 21, while discharging for supplying the electric power to the load M1. Air conditioning of the air conditioning room A is effected by driving the load M1 by the electric power from the power supply 21 or the electric power storage means BM. The electric power storage means BM (storage battery 11) is installed at the outside of an air-conditioning room A. When the electric power storage means BM is installed in the air-conditioning room A, an effective space in the air- conditioning room A is narrowed or the appearance of the room A is worsened. However, the electric power storage means BM is installed at the outside of the air- conditioning room A whereby the electric power storage means BM can be installed at a place whereat the space of installation is not restricted comparatively. |
