<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to avoid a traffic lane deviation by imparting a steering control torque so that a feeling of incongruity is not given while allowing a driver's plan of running position on a curved road without disturbing a driver's steering in a traffic lane deviation prevention device. SOLUTION: This device guides a prevention of a traffic lane deviation by making a steering actuator 21 impart a steering control torque of a degree to which a driver can simply overcome, apart from the driver's steering torque, in a direction for preventing his own car from deviating the traffic lane. In this case, the device is equipped with a slip quantity calculation means 4A for calculating the slip quantity of a vehicle from a reference position of the traffic lane, a control torque calculation means 5 for calculating a control torque on the basis of this slip quantity, and a control means 6 for controlling a steering actuator 21 so that this control torque is generated in a direction decreasing the slip quantity, and is provided with a dead zone set means 5B for setting a dead zone for making the control torque 0 on the basis of a curve condition of the traffic lane.</p> |
