<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single chip microcomputer capable of executing data transfer to/from an external I/O without reducing the performance of a system. SOLUTION: In the single chip microcomputer 10 having a CPU 1 for controlling the operation of the whole device by executing a program, a ROM 3 storing the program, a RAM 4 for storing data as a work area for the CPU 1, and a bus adaptor 2 for executing data transfer between the RAM 4 and the external I/O 20 and connecting these parts through a system bus 6, an excusive bus 7 to be a route different from the bus 6 is connected between the RAM 4 and the adaptor 2 and data transfer between the RAM 4 and the external I/O 20 is executed through the bus 7.</p> |
