Device which comprises: a pulley which receives the movement of the motor and transmits it to the tool; a brake drum fixed to the frame and coaxial with the shaft of the pulley; a brake casing integral with the pulley equipped with rocking shafts; supports, equipped with a shoe, which can be mounted in the brake casing and rocked about a rocking shaft between a position of application of the shoe onto the brake drum and a second position of non-application; and springs which tend to hold the support in the first position of application. The centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the pulley overcomes the force of the spring and, when this rotation ceases, the spring brakes the pulley and the tool itself. <IMAGE> |
