PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize required shear resistance and peeling force of a hook type fastener member, even if the member is integrally formed of a synthetic resin with a shape which is hard to obtain large mechanical engaging force, and further, to secure durability thereof, by forming a dent part in an engaging element and burying a sticky or adhesive material in the dent part. SOLUTION: A formed hook type hook and loop fastener has an integrally formed hook 4 protruding out from an upper face 6 a band substrate 2. A groove to be a dent part is formed on an outer face 10. The position of the groove on the outer face is the apex of the hook 4 and the groove is extended on the apex. The groove is formed on the outer face of the hook 4 simultaneously with the formation of the hook and loop fastener a glue or an adhesive 12 filled in the groove. The adhesive 12 is placed so as to face an adhesive material placed on the base part or the engaging element of the counterpart (loop) which engages with the hook and loop fastener in use. When the adhesive material 12 is filled in the groove, a layer coated with a material added for mutual completion is unnecessary in the base part 2. |
