PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car navigation device capable of receiving a new D-GPS (differential global positioning system) station by automatic tuning if D-GPS data can not be received. SOLUTION: When a CPU receives a D-GPS station, whether or not another registered D-GPS station exists is judged. If there is, the reception frequency is varied and whether or not a voice broadcasting and multiple data and D-GPS data are detected is judged. If these are detected, the D-GPS station is detected. If there is no registered D-GPS station, the frequency is newly varied to detect the D-GPS station and the D-GPS station is additionally registered in a list. |
