PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyolefin wax capable of improving an abrasion resistance or flatting function when used for a printing ink and a surface coating agent by using, as an admixture, a polyolefin wax produced through a metallocene catalyst. SOLUTION: This method is conducted by using a polyolefin wax produced through a metallocene catalyst, pref. an ethylene homopolymer or an ethylene copolymer wax having a molecular weight distribution of Mw/Mn<5, melt viscosity of 5 to 100,000 mPs at 140 deg.C, and melting point of 137 deg.C to 70 deg.C. Preferably, as the above wax, there is used propylene homopolymer and copolymer waxes in the form of fine particles. |
