PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a makeup cosmetic giving a good transparent and bare skin appearance and excellent in an effect for hiding pores, wrinkles and the like which exist on skins. SOLUTION: This colorless or while makeup cosmetic comprises an oily base agent and a powdery material having an average particle diameter of 1-100μm in a weight ratio of 6:4 to 2:8, and has an absorbance of 0.5-1.5 in a region having an optical path length of 100μm and wavelengths of 400-500 nm. When coated on a skin, the makeup cosmetic gives a transparent powdery material appearance similar to the appearance of the horny layer, gives a natural finish and is excellent in an effect for hiding the uneven states of pores, small wrinkles and the like.
