Improvements introduced on mixer taps with double water inlet of the type consisting of a single body and mixer mechanism for the inlet regulation and passage of hot and cold water, characterised by the arrangement of the control handle for turning the fluid on and off, that is a control handle housed inside the single, cylindrical, tubular body, a handle that is moved and presents the fluid outlet at the lower orifice which has a regular shape surrounding the control handle thus obtaining at all times a steady jet of water and also self-cleaning of the control. There is a closing chamber with a cover and pivot with orifices of suitable section on its input face corresponding to the two fluid ducts and in which there is a central stem inside the tap with vertical movement that emerges at its lower end, like a push button, while at its upper end it carries a cylindrical head with a diameter smaller than the inside of the said chamber. The side face of the head has a right angled orifice that runs horizontally up to the axis of the stem and then descends coaxially down to the area immediately below the head, where it meets a set of practically horizontal radial through-orifices that connect the interior of the orifice with the hollow part of each one of the longitudinal grooves. As the head of the handle turns horizontally inside the cylinder, it permits the right angled orifice to collect hot or cold water or a mixture thereof. <IMAGE>
