PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent molten slag from being cooled and sticking to the inner wall surface of a furnace, by mixing the air, which is alternately heated by heat storage burners at high temperatures, with fuel and burned ash mixed to blow it into the primary combustion chamber of a melting furnace. SOLUTION: A burner 21 is ignited, and a burner 22 is stopped. By the switching of a switching valve 31, the air from a suction blower 35 is fed to a heat reservoir 28, and the air is heated by the retained heat of the heat reservoir 28, so that the inside of a combustion chamber 20 is warmed up. The heated exhaust air by the burner 21 is exhausted outside through an exhaust pipe 32. The high temperature air of the combustion chamber 20 is fed to a burned residue burner 15 through piping 17, and then it is mixed with the fuel from a fuel pipe 18 and the ash of a burned ash feed pipe 19. Since the temperature of combustion gas can rise up to a slag melting point or higher easily, the cooling of slag in the burned residue burner 15 is not generated. Therefore, molten slag does not stick to the inner wall surface 1b of a furnace to block the furnace. |
