Balances variable loads without the use of sensors, is entirely pneumatic, allows direct movement of load by operator. Method in which load balancing is done by a pneumatic cylinder which does not require sensors. Balancing is effected on the basis of a memorised pressure by collection of air in a drive circuit (P1). The method includes a stage which connects an automatic regulator (RP), controlling the pressure of the drive circuit, with the chamber of a pneumatic jack (V). The chamber is pressure fed to raise the load to be moved or is evacuated to lower the load, on the basis of the memorised pressure in the drive circuit (P1).
