Cooking device for sausage in dough has two heated plates

A food heating assembly receives a sausage surrounded by a portion of dough which is rapidly heated and cooked for immediate consumption. The food is placed in a form (1) with an inner form (2), both of which are then placed between two heating elements (15, 19), the lower one of which (15) surrenders heat via flat metal surface (25) to the food form (1, 2) following insertion between the two (17, 21). The gap (a) between the two elements is slightly conical. The topmost plate pivots upwards to simplify insertion.
