The rocker-lever (1) has a hydraulic clearance-adjuster (6), whose outer portion (10) slides in a bore (9) in the lever, while its inner portion (11) is supported by a bottom sealing the bore. The bottom end of the outer portion works against a valve stem (7). The bore has an axial groove (24), by which the hydraulic medium is directed from a high-pressure chamber (14) of the adjuster to the end face of the valve stem.
