An external finned grille (2) has a sleeve (3), and a female fitting (12), acting as an air inlet pipe connecting into a rigid caisson (4) provided with a male fitting. A connection plate (5) is the front face of the caisson and supports an air regulator (6). The caisson interior has a flow separator dividing the entering air into two streams. These streams flow into the regulator in horizontal and vertical planes inside two dissymmetrical channels formed in the insulating structure lining the caisson and connection plate and the median strut of the caisson respectively.
