A steering system with a steering rod is disclosed for a four-wheeled skateboard, preferably of the type consisting of two board parts swivellingly interconnected by a neck. The main characteristic of the steering system is that an anisotropically flexible, elastic intermediate piece (14) is provided at its bottom end. As a result, the steering rod can be tilted to the left and to the right, but not backward or forward. The skater can thus lie in the curves and pull the handlebar inwards accordingly. In addition, the steering rod can be easily folded backwards/downwards and fixed at the rear end of the skateboard, where it is snap locked during skating.
|
