A device for supporting and rotating a personnel platform with respect to a fixe d attachment point comprises three main structural members, two of which are brack ets which are attached through a vertical hinge point to two separate hinge points on the thir d member, a means of locking one bracket or the other to the intermediate member, and a means of r otating one bracket with respect to the other. Onto one bracket is fixed a personnel platfor m and the other bracket is connected to a fixed attachment point. The securing of either one or the other brackets to the intermediate member allows a minimum of 90.degree. rotation in either dir ection from the neutral position of the platform using one and the same rotating means. This produces a support that fits into a relatively compact space between the fixed attachment point and the platf orm, and can be positioned to more easily avoid interference with possible other nearby attachme nts.
