<p>A concentrated constant line approximating system capable of approximating a distributed constant line with a required accuracy. The system receives inputs of object circuit information and analysis conditions (steps 310, 320), calculates a product ηl of the propagation constant η and the line length l (step 340), calculates cosh ηl and sinh ηl by using the product ηl (step 360) to find functions an(ηl), bn(η1) and cn(ηl), finds absolute values δ1, δ2 and δ3 of the differences among these functions and cosh ηl and sinh ηl, and compares the greatest value δ among them with an allowable value ε of the error. If δ < ε, the processing ends, while if δ < ε does not hold, the number of division is increased by 1, and the above processing is repeated to determine the number n of division for approximation (step 370). Depending upon the determined number, a ladder circuit in which Π-circuits are connected in cascade is defined (step 380) and the approximated concentrated constant circuit information is stored (step 400).</p> |
