<p>The support has an internally hollow body (2) formed by a pair of casings (3,4) which are semicylindrical and extend mainly in a longitudinal direction (X) along which they have internally a rounded seat (7). The seat is designed to receive an over head cable (10). A closing device (6) is designed to clamp the casings together. A solid coupling is achieved between the overhead cable the internally hollow body and the closing device. A fastening member (23) mounted on the closing device is designed to connect the assembly (1) to a support pylon (11) or pole. The casings are hinged with one another along a common longitudinal edge (12). They are free to move between and open position and a closed position. The casings are each provided with a longitudinal lip (15) near the free edge. It extends so as to project, tapering from a first end (16) towards a second end (17) of the internally hollow body. The longitudinal lips form a hollow body with the casings and provide a guide (18) when the casings are arranged in the closed position. The closing device has a slit (19) which has a longitudinal cavity (20) correspondingly shaped with respect to the guide along which it is free to slide as far as an end locking position (21).</p> |
