<p>The present invention relates to a device for carrying out in a controlled manner working of the edges and/or adjacent parts of an object (1, 11, 111) or alternatively selected portions of the said object (1, 11, 111), especially objects with varying shapes in different portions of the object (1, 11, 111). Said device includes a slide (2) which, controlled by a control system (7), is disposed movably in two coordinate directions at right angles to each other and which slide (2) is provided with a first means (3) to retain said object (1, 11, 111) relative to the device, appropriately at a distance from a machine for working of the object (1, 11, 111). The characteristics of the invention are that the control system (7) is arranged to be fed with the intended shape and orientation of the object (1, 11, 111) in relation to the device and to emit corresponding control signals for movement of the said slide (2), in that in the close vicinity of the said machine (4) for working of the object (1, 11, 111) the device is provided with a second means (5) for retention, steering and feeding of the object (1, 11, 111) which second means (5), preferably via the said control system (7), is controlled by a sensor (6) which is arranged to mainly continuously sense the current position of the said object (1, 11, 111) in relation to the position of the said machine (4) and to emit a corresponding control signal to the said second means (5) and/or to the control system (7).</p> |
