A retractable felt-tipped pen is disclosed which includes first and second cylindrical members movable with respect to each other and a pen nib connected to one of the first and second cylinders. A flexible membrane is connected to at least one of the first and second tubes and rotates inward on itself to engage the pen nib in a closed condition to seal the pen nib and rotates outward from itself to disengage the pen nib for writing and/or the membrane simply expands without rotation. |
