The power tool housing (10) includes an air inlet channel, a reversible rotary motor with air intakes for forwards and reverse operation and an output shaft supporting a threaded work tool (19), a reverse valve for guiding compressed air into one of the air intakes in order to change the motor rotation direction, a coupling between the motor and output shaft for restricting rotation, and an activation mechanism for switching the reverse valve between forwards and reverse positions when the coupling is released. The reverse valve comprises a cylindrical valve chamber with a two side openings in communication with the forwards and reverse operation air intakes, and a valve body axially movable inside the chamber to block or expose the side openings in order to automatically switch the motor rotation direction between forwards and reverse operation. |
