METHOD OF ISOLATION OF PENTAERYTHRYLTETRAKIS-[β-(3,5-DI-TERTIARY-BUTYL-4-HYDROXYPHENYL)-PROPIONATE]

FIELD: organic chemistry and technology. SUBSTANCE: method of isolation of pentaerythryltetrakis-[β-(3.5-di-tert. -butyl-4-hydroxy-phenyl)-propionate] from reaction mass involves its dissolving in cyclohexane at 90-100 C, separation of catalyst by filtration, solution cooling to 15-20 C and filtration of precipitate formed. The latter is a compound of combination of the end substance with cyclohexane. Precipitate is heated to 140-160 C, cyclohexane is distilled off and recirculated to the process and obtained melt is subjected for scaling. EFFECT: increased yield of the end substance, simplified process.
