<p>The container cap, e.g. for an aerosol container of a cosmetic or pharmaceutical product, incorporates a ring (15) to regulate the elasticity of flexible tongues (7) which have ribs (10) on their free ends to engage with a groove or collar on the upper rim of the container. The flexible tongues are carried on the inner wall (3) of a twin-wall component (2) of the cap, the outer wall (4) of which has an axial rib (14) to engage with one of three matching grooves (19,20,21) in the ring to set its position in relation to the tongues. The lower edge (17) of the ring has cutaway sections (18) of varying height to interact with the tongues and regulate their elasticity.</p> |
