SUBSTANCE: the band-milling machine has drive and tension pulleys, support of the tension pulley mounted on a guide and connected to a damper, guide drive, band saw placed on the pulley and a saw tension force indicator. The support in the machine is connected to the damper by means of an axle and rod, which is positioned in a piston. The damper is mounted between the piston and rod.
