The spray device has a housing with opening facing the object to be sprayed and with funnels (5) along the edge to suck up and return the overspray. The wide opening (5.1) of the funnels is associated with the edge of the housing opening and the narrow opening (5.2) is fitted with its own pipe line which opens into the collecting pipe (7) attached to the back of the housing. The wide openings adjoin flush with each other along their side walls.
