BITUMEN COMPOSITIONS AND A PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION

<p>Bitumen composition comprises bitumen component, less than 8 wt.% thermoplastic rubber and less than 5 wt.% of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The copolymer has vinyl acetate content of 20-35 wt.%. The preparation of the bitumen composition involves mixing the bitumen with a thermoplastic rubber and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The use of the bitumen composition in an asphalt mixture for road applications is also claimed.</p>
