New surface active compounds, method for their preparation, and their use

Compound according to formula wherein R is a linear or branched alkyl radical, optionally substituted having from 2 to 40 C-atoms; R1, R2, and R3 are the same or different and selected from lower alkyl; and R4, R5, and R6 are the same or different and selected from hydrogen, halogen or an alkali metal or alkali earth metal. The compound shows interesting surface active properties and a low toxicity profile, and is suitable for cosmetic, detergent and agricultural compositions.
