<p>The system has a main connector (21) linked to a computer and individual connectors (22) interacting with connections on the injectors, and couplings (20) with links (23) supporting the main and individual connectors. The system comprises a fuel injection pipe (11) with a branch (12) for each injector, and an electrical coupling (20) between an engine management computer and each injector. The coupling consists of a main connector (21) and individual connectors (22) which are designed to interact with matching connections on the individual injectors and form a continuous guide for electrical cables between the connectors. The links (23) have parallel tubes (25) attached to the branches, and a rail (26) extending at right angles to them and made in sections (26a-c) between the tubes, joined to one another by half collars (27a-d). The links, tubes and rail can be made e.g. from a rigid molded plastics material.</p> |
