PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup which makes it thinner by constituting a mechanism for adjusting the tilt of a yoke base equipped with an objective lens on the side thereof. SOLUTION: A hemispherical side projection 8 is formed on the side of a yoke base 5 and a side guide groove 9 is formed on the side of an optical base 2 to guide the projection. The yoke base equipped with an objective lens 3 is tilted with the side projection as fulcrum to regulate the tilt of the yoke base to a disc 1. A tilt adjusting mechanism of the yoke base is constituted on the sides of the yoke base and the optical base. This eliminates a height wise space, thereby making the optical pickup thinner. |
