PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely destroy or disable a main component to make it useless even when it is stolen and to prevent a burglary by utilizing thermit reaction and generating instantaneous high temperature. SOLUTION: For instance, useful near the magnetic head, processor and IC memory, etc., in a public telephone set liable to be stolen, a fuse head 3 being is a thermit agent is encapsuled in a casing 1 and a thermit element provided with a vibration detection sensor 6 is installed. When the vibration detection sensor 6 detects instantaneous acceleration more than a prescribed value, a voltage is generated, a switch is operated, a capacitor charged by the voltage and the fuse head 3 are connected, energizing and heating are performed and the thermit element is ignited. The high temperature above 2,000 deg.C is instantaneously generated and the close magnetic head, processor and IC memory, etc., are destroyed. Thus, an important component or information is safely destroyed at the burglary without using gunpowder requiring a permission or the like, the burglary is prevented and the leakage or the information is prevented.
