PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide an intended skinning curved surface by generating the skinning curved surface by interpolating plural cross sections while referring to the form of a track. SOLUTION: Plural different cross-sectional forms and the data of a track for reference are inputted to a processor. Next, the intersection of a plane including the respective cross sections and the reference track is calculated, and a track segment corresponding to each cross section is determined from the intersection of two adjacent cross sections on the track. Plural sampling points are taken on the track segment, the cross sections on both sides are respectively swept along with the track, and the track at each sampling point is found. An intermediate cross section is determined by the primary interpolation of two provided cross sections, and an interpolation curve is generated between correspondent apexes from the cross sections on both the sides and the plural provided intermediate cross sections. This procedure is applied to the plural adjacent cross sections and the track segment and interpolation curves D1 , D2 ... connecting plural cross sections are generated. Then, the skinning curved surface is generated from curves consisting of adjacent cross sections and the generated interpolation curves.
