<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid drops down along a wire harness from reaching an electrical apparatus. SOLUTION: A grommet 10 is an integrated body constiluted of a stationary part 2, a hood 1 and a sleeve 3. A wire harness 20 inserted into a hole 2a is pressed elastically by a rib 4, formed along the circumferential direction of the internal peripheral surface of the stationary part 2. As the result of this, there is liquid-tightness between the stationary part 2 and the harness 20. The hood 1 is in an approximately semiglobular shape, has an opening on the side of the direction of the immersion of a liquid propagating along the harness 20, and receives the liquid and drops it from its external brim 5. The sleeve 3 is provided on a side opposite to the hood 1, and fits on a connector 30 connected to the harness 20 at its internal side surface 3a. Since the liquid propagating along the harness 20 does not propagate along the peripheral surface of the grommet 10, it is unnecessary to make the connector 30 a waterproof construction, and it becomes possible to reduce the total cost of the grommet 10, the connector 30 and the harness 20.</p> |
