PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the compact information terminal of an optimum shape in response to every use by preparing a radio communication function part that can be freely attached to and detached from the main body part of the information terminal. SOLUTION: A radio communication part 101 has an interface of PCMCIA standard, and the dead space of an information terminal equipment main body part 103 is available as a PC card slot when the part 101 is removed. When an audio function is added to an information terminal to produce the effect sounds in response to each operation or a functions of an audio memo, etc., is added to perform a simple sound recording/reproducing operation, the part 101 is removed and the part 103 is combined with a telephone receiver part 102. When it's desired to send data to the remote facilities via a telephone circuit or to receive data from the remote facilities, the part 102 is removed and the part 103 is combined with the part 101. Furthermore, the information terminal is used as a telephone set to perform a call together with its original function, the parts 103, 101 and 102 are combined together. |
