PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a power-supply circuit itself, by a method wherein the electric charge of a first capacitor which is charged up to a voltage at a voltage input terminal from a voltage source or from the outside is moved to a second capacitor and an output voltage is generated. SOLUTION: A voltage comparison circuit 107 compares a divided voltage to be outputted from a voltage dividing circuit 106 with the voltage of a reference voltage source 105, and it outputs a compared result to a switching control circuit 108. When the compared result shows that the divided voltage to be outputted from the voltage dividing circuit 106 is lower, the switching control circuit 108 continues to alternately output a switching control signal which connects the terminal A and the terminal Y of a switching circuit and which cuts off the terminal Y and its terminal B, and a switching control signal which cuts off the terminal A and the terminal Y and which connects the terminal Y and the terminal B. Inversely, when it is shown that the divided voltage to be outputted from the voltage dividing circuit 106 is higher, the switching control circuit 108 outputs a switching control signal which cuts off the terminal A and the terminal Y of the switching circuit 104 and which cuts off the terminal Y and the terminal B, and it moves the electric charge of a first capacitor 102 to the second capacitor 103 so as to be repeated. |
