<p>To improve the cut-off characteristics and operability of a valve device by providing the valve device with a valve body which is hardly hurt by the extraneous matter entering the same, and which has a high mechanical strength including high creep resistance, without increase in the roughness of the slide surface of the valve body while the valve device is in use. A valve seat (6) and a valve body (7) slidably placed on the valve seat are provided with notched flow passages (15) or inflow passages (13, 14), and these valve seat (6) and valve body (7) are formed out of a molded body of a resin composition consisting of 35-90 % by weight of polycyanoarylether resin and 10-65 % by weight of carbon fiber having an average fiber diameter of not larger than 8 .mu.m, or a molded body of a compounded resin composition in which a heat resisting inorganic powdered filler having an average particle diameter of not larger than 20 .mu.m is substituted for a part of the 10-65 % by weight of carbon fiber, a total amount of this filler and carbon fiber mentioned above being 10-65 % by weight.</p> |
