PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively improve installing workability by molding in a ribbon shape by arranging a pressure sensitive adhesive layer on at least one surface of a foaming structure body having independent foam or the independent foam and continuous foam, and using a water cutoff sealant to enhance water stop performance by adhering/sealing an adhering object interface. SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive layer is desirably composed of a pressure sensitive adhesive composition containing a polymer of a polycarbonate structure having a repetitive unit of the formula (R is a hydrocarbon radical of 2 to 20C. Thougn the thickness of a foaming structure body is not particularly limited, in order to obtain a ribbon-shaped water stop sealant, it is generally within a range of 1 to 20 mm, and is desirably 3 to 10 mm. Installation is facilitated by sticking it to a peripheral edge part of a light for an automobile while cutting this in a proper length, and it can also be automatically stuck by a machine. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer having a thickness of 1 to 100μm is normally arranged on at least one surface of the foaming structure body. A general pressure sensitive adhesive such as rubber and acrylic can also be used.
