PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a device from being used unauthorizedly by someone other than an authenticated user by using account information read from a storage medium in which the account information for enabling the utilization of a network is recorded by the read means of the account information and accessing the network. SOLUTION: A main control part 1 reads the account information such as a user ID and a password or the like for enabling the utilization of the network and authentication intormation such as a user code or the like for showing that the use of the device is authenticated from this storage medium and performs log-in. The account information read by a card reader 14 from an IC acrd 15 recording usable money amount information is used and the network is accessed. Then, the authentication information is compared with the authentication information registered and stored in a RAM 7 beforehand, the network is accessed in the case they have been matched with, the use of the device is not permitted in the case they have not been matched with and access is inhibited also in the case the money amount information is less than a prescribed money amount. |
