PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the best-to-taste term of vending merchandise to a customer by storing the term of vending merchandise as one part of merchandise information and displaying even the term at the time of registration processing. SOLUTION: A POS terminal 21 connects displays 29 and 30 for customer and clerk, PLU memory 31 and main memory 32 or the like to a system bus 26 connected to a main control part 22. The PLU memory 31 stores the merchandise information for each of a lot of vending merchandise and the best-to-taste term as one part of merchandise information. When the main control part 22 performs access to this PLU memory 31, the merchandise information is read out with an inputted merchandise code as a retrieval key, temporarily stored in the main memory 32 and registered based on the read merchandise information. Then, the main control part 22 displays various kinds of information on registration processing on the displays 29 and 30. In this case, the best- to-taste term is also displayed as one part of vending merchandise information and the validity of vending merchandise can be presented for the customer. |
