PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically settle accounts by a simple depositing mechanism regarding an automatic transaction machine which receives deposit through a financial document such as a check. SOLUTION: The automatic transaction device has a receiving opening 7, document carrying means 26 and 29, reading means 31 and 33, printing means 32 and 34 and a storing means 23 in order to automatically settle the accounts with a financial document 100 that is deposited by a user. The opening 7 is provided with a guidance means 9 that instructs how the document 100 is inserted. Because the means 9 instructs how to insert a financial document at a receiving opening, a user can correctly place the surface and rear of a financial document, insert the document and also insert the document in an appropriate direction by inserting the document according to the guidance means. Then, it is possible to facilitate a deposit processing mechanism of a financial document. |
